neighborhood meeting tonight (Monday) - with police?

Apparently there is a meeting tonight (Monday) at the church, I think
with the police. Purpose: to tell people what has been happening in
the neighborhood - there seems to have been a lot of attacks at the
Post apartment plus some store robberies, according to one person I've
talked to. Anyone who goes: please post what it said because I cannot
go.

I just tried to answer you (no details on meeting, though) and it was
returned. I also got it back with the message that the forum didn't exist.

This might have happened because I just revised the group email
address to make it a bit shorter... you may have been sending

I just left the meeting. Two local news crews were there, and will be
airing some information from the meeting on the news later tonight.
Fox 5 for sure, and I think WSB channel 2 was the other crew.

I made several contacts with other neighborhood organizers who live
close by, as well as our law enforcement officers and political
officers. We are all going to share information, and I will be
setting up a neighborhood watch meeting with the police in the coming
weeks.

I will be delivering briarvista google group flyers around the
neighborhood as soon as possible - Hopefully I will be able to do
this after work tomorrow. I will be primarily focusing on Lively
Ridge, Southland Vista, Post Apartments, Biltmore, and Stephens.

Thanks for creating this group...can't wait for it to get populated.
Meanwhile, I was a little frustrated at the general lack of confidence
displayed at the community meeting...The community meeting at Beth
Jacob last year was far more helpful/organized.
I left thinking: are they suggesting that it is not safe to run by
yourself in broad daylight?
