I finally received a response from our local public safety specialist this week, and am in the process of setting a date for a neighborhood crime update meeting with local police officers.  I have proposed some dates, and am waiting to hear back regarding dates they are available to speak with us.

Also, just wanted to remind everyone to lock your car doors, and DO NOT leave valuables in your vehicle!  I just received a crime update email below, showing 14 crimes related to auto theft and auto entry and break-ins which just happened this week, on October 7th.  *All of these crimes occurred within 1 mile of Briarcliff and LaVista intersection.  

Call police if you see any suspicious activity in the area... Your suspicious instincts are usually correct.
