The Brian team will be running an online tutorial for Brian on August
7th, 2-6pm BST (=UTC+1). Please do come along or get your
students/postdocs to come along. Registration is required but free (to
prevent zoombombing), at the link below:

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/brian-online-tutorial-tickets-115336320038

You'll get an email with a link to an 'event details' page with the Zoom
URL. Please don't share this online to help prevent zoombombing.

This is an experiment for us, if it's successful we might turn it into a
regular thing.

For the moment, the content of the tutorial is not decided. Have your
say here:

And, if you're an experienced Brian user and would like to volunteer to
help - get in touch!

Thanks,

Dan

Hi there,

I am wondering is that possible to move the event a little bit earlier? It will be midnight in Australia from 11:00 pm to 3:00 am. If that time suits most of the people, then it's fine. Appreciate it.

Cheers,
Robin

Choosing a time zone is really hard because there's no good time for everyone. This time, we'll stick with 2-6pm BST because I think it covers the largest number of people likely to come, but if the event is a success we'll certainly try to do future ones at a range of time zones to cater for people around the world. Sorry about that.

Hi Dan,

That’s absolutely fine, no worries.

Robin
