Hi friends! I hope life is treating you well and that you’re finding little pockets of nature and creativity in your days. I wanted to share an important update about the Flock membership and what I have planned for the next few months. I went a bit off topic towards the end of this video and talked about my recent trip to London, some art materials I purchased while I was there (including a pretty, darn special pencil sharpener!) and my upcoming trip to Ireland this week. But, on with the important announcement… Membership Pause for June & JulyI’m pausing the paid membership for June and July! There are a few reasons for this, I have some in-person, outdoor workshops to organise over the summer and want to give this all the time and energy it needs. I’m also writing as part of Claire Venus ✨ 12 Chapters Club with my wonderful writing buddy Marie-Louise Cee , and I’d love to build on that and finish off some creative projects that have been on the go for a while. I hope to share more on those as they develop. I will still be popping in, though! I’ll continue doing the occasional live stream, sharing on the Friday chat threads, and dropping into Notes. I may also run the occasional co-sketch session, they’re such a lovely way to connect, and I find them really useful for carving out dedicated sketchbook time. I also plan to write a short newsletter, sharing my work from the studio, life and other updates. All of these will be free to join while the paid membership is paused. I’ll update you via a post or email whenever I plan something in. Summer tends to be a naturally quieter time here on Substack, so this feels like a good time to pause. It also takes any pressure off you, there's no new content to keep up with or sessions to sign up for. Instead, you can dip back into the archive if you fancy it, or simply use the time to rest, focus on your own projects, or catch up on all those things that can be easy to out off, whether that’s creative pursuits, home projects, your own wellbeing. Whatever needs your attention most right now 💛
What do you need to do if you’re a paid member?Nothing at all! Your membership will be paused and you won’t be charged during this time. You’ll still have full access to the archive, over two years of recorded content and posts, so it’s a great opportunity to catch up. I’ll be in touch during July to let you know when the paid membership will resume. Here’s what the pause means:
Thinking about joining as a paid member?Now is a great time! Upgrade before 1st June and you’ll essentially get two free months to explore the full Flock archive, as billing will be paused for the whole of June and July. There’s now over two years of posts, live session replays and videos in the paid membership, themed on everything from Witchcraft and Magic to Winter Birds. If you’ve been on the fence, this is the perfect moment to dive in.
