AMC Rock Program starting soon

I posted about the AMC Boston Chapter's annual Rock Program last year, but too late to do anyone any good; this year I'm on time.  In case you haven't heard me talking about it, the Rock Program is taught by volunteers at the Quincy Quarries every April, and focuses on anchor building, rappelling, and other techniques needed to help you safely follow a leader on a multi-pitch climb.  It's a thorough introduction to outdoor climbing, as well as an introduction to a wider community of outdoor climbers.

The first event is Info Night from 7-8 this Tuesday March 3rd at AMC Headquarters at 10 City Square, Charlestown.  At Info Night, the program is presented in more detail, and prospective students have a chance to ask questions.  Registration opens afterwards online, and runs until the following Sunday.  If you can't be there, the event will be webcast on Facebook (a Facebook account is not necessary).
