Review your list of purposes and attempt to see it through God’s eyes.
Do you think His list would be similar to yours? What do you think is
God’s highest purpose for prayer?

When I looked back over my list and tried to see it through God's
eyes, I decided His list would have some similarities to mine. This
biggest difference I can imagine is that my list seems very self-
involved and laden with concerns of this world, while I would imagine
his list would have more of an overall focus on my life after death
and furthering his kingdom.
I'm not sure if it is His highest purpose, but I think one major way
He uses prayer to strengthen the relationship between us and Him.

Somewhere I read that the highest purpose of prayer is to accomplish
God's will. If that were on our list - it would probably make for a
shorter list.
