Who is "Him"

In 1 Peter 1:21 when I did my marking I have the following...
Through Him(Christ) you believe in God, Who(God) raised Him(Christ)
from the dead and glorified Him(???)...

I think the last "Him" is referring to Christ. Is that how you read
it?

I guess what is throwing me off is I never really thought of God
glorifying Christ. I always thought of Christ glorifying God. If
that "Him" is referring to Christ then I am grateful for this new
perspective into the relationships of the God-Head.

I think that it is Christ as well- that is how I marked it, because vs
19 and 20 refer to Christ. I did not think about the idea of God
glorifying Christ, but when you said that i realized I had always
looked at it the other way around as well. I guess that when God
raised Christ, he glorified Him, by doing something no one else can
claim. I dont know...just my tho stuughts.

I had trouble marking vs 15-17- Is the "he" there God or Christ?

I agree with the first 2- I, too, had a different understanding than
when I went through the verses more slowly and with intention.
I don't know if this is right, but in v. 15 I marked "He" as God, as
well as in v. 16 and 17.
This discussion has been really encouraging.

I think when the term "He" is used it is referring to God. When the
term "Him" is used it is referring to Christ.
I have a book, "Johnson's Notes on the New Testament"; it really
helped me get it straightened out (well...at least more than when I
began). Also looking at different translations sometimes helps.
