Hi
Hope someone can help , I am not an audio techie

I have been given a Vinyl player that has its own built in speakers , however I want to play the output through my Brennan speakers

I have attached a line out red jack and a white jack from the player to line in jack on the Brennan

The record still plays through the Vinyl player

Any thoughts

Thanks in advance

Tony

Does it also play through the line out to the b2?   If so, just turn the volume all the way down on you Vinyl player.

Hi Alan

You need some kind of preamp to get the sound out of the B2.

I have a mixer (DJ) that I have connected my turntable to and the mixer is then connected to the B2 and it works fine. You can buy quite affordable preamps from Amazon for as little as £20.

Turntables need this because of the way they produce the sound, analogue I think - can't remember. The signal effectively needs to be converted.

Hope this helps :)
