I’m sure I come across how to do this in the past but can’t find solution now. On a few albums I’ve had scan my own images and have mistakenly added wrong image.
Firstly as I understand there’s no way to edit existing cover art if incorrect.  As I recall it was straightforward, you have to delete the album and reinstall with correct artwork.
Also am I correct in thinking all albums have exactly the same file name, “coverart.jpg” and it’s the album they are associated with that differentiates them.
Thanks.

It also works with folder.jpg in the relevant Album folder.  You can edit via NAS.

Hi Stephen,

Each 'cover art' image file is stored within its relevant 'Album' folder, along with the CD muisc tracks.  The image file can be called any name provided it is a '.jpg' file.  The Brennan just happens to name them 'coverart.jpg'.

The way the B2 seems to work is that when you call up a particular track to play, it searches the album folder for any '.jpg' file and uses the first one that it finds in that folder.  This means that you can have multiple cover art items in any album folder (as I have with some of my albums).

So I have a good few 'Front.jpg' and 'Back.jpg' and 'CD.jpg' files in some of my album folders.

Like many others in this forum, I use NAS to access and edit the files and folders.  It is so much more convenient.

Regards,
Peter.

Hi Stephen,

If you set up NAS mode - so you can view and edit the contents on the B2's HDD on your computer - you can replace the album arts. As Peter explained the album arts are stored with the Tracks within the Album folder.

Aslo using the Web UI you can change the cover art (without deleting and re installing the CD) there are tools to do this (click on the 3 dots). but only with the "lookup database" options.

Hi Fred,

I think Stephen is trying to change an artwork for one stored on his computer.

To change album art from your PC just enter album and artist here and choose the jpg file, then send to brennan.    Simples!
