I used to work for a radio station, and have several 1000's of professional cd's.  Each song is a different artist, and possibly a different genre.  The cd's are not available to the public, just radio stations and professional dj's.  The problem I have had in the past, 6-7 years ago, is that it can not find the cd, and put correct artist and song titles on the tracks.  So I have put off paying the $2500 to have the cd's ripped and put on lossless digital audio.  I dont have time to type in each artist and song title.  What are the chances that your service might be able to do this, and get correct information?  Has anyone else had any experience with using professional CD's and professional cd music collections.

The Brennan products use the MusicBrainz database to look up album information.  You could check their website for a few of your albums and see how they do.

Hi

If you have access to a computer that can run the Musicbrainz Picard software then you could exploit its audio recognition functionality to autoname your tracks (at least partially)

I put the attached together some time ago to describe how I have used it to identify and rename music tracks

I am a retired radio guy and I have a pile of samplers that the record companies used to send out each month with various artists that they were trying to promote. I found that ripping the CDs with an external CD player with Windows Media Player found most of the CDs including title and artists. When you start the rip, click on the album icon. I find selecting update album info works better for some reason. Good luck.
