Hello
Just tried ripping a CD after doing a backup, but now I'm seeing a "No CD Mechanism" message. I have turned the unit off and on, been to the Web Upgrade and have performed a Scan Disk. After a bit more research, I've also Reset CD in the advanced Maintenance menu, but still no dice. Could it be the CD player is mechanically broken, or the disk is stuck in there? I'm also seeing "No Network" on the main display. Does this mean that I'm not connected, even though the wireless connection showed "Success"?

Hi Rainer,

Is your B2 in 'Aux In' mode - as you say there is no CD mechanism and no WiFi - check what the display shows?

Press the front control and select turn Aux In off.

Hi Paul, thanks for your response.

I pressed the front control and scrolled to something that read "Play Aux" (nothing that indicated "Aux In" or the ability to turn it off). When I pressed the front control with "Play Aux", a dialogue appeared that read "Are You Sure?" That scared me off, since I was NOT sure!.

Hi Rainer,

If the B2 is asking you 'Are you sure?' after selecting 'Play Aux' then the B2 is not in Aux In mode. Try powering off the B2, waiting a minute or so and power on again.

On the first screen after boot up does the scrolling text show 'Source: Hard Disk'?

If the scrolling text still shows 'No Network' - using the front control go to the Maintenance menu and select 'Reset WiFi'. Then run 'Setup WiFi' again.

For the 'No Cd mechanism' try 'Reset CD' again.
