Hello everyone,

I have successfully ripped a number of CDs and they show up in the music library on Sonos. However, additional CDs don't do so. I have done "scan disk" on the b2 and "update music library" on the Sonos system, but to no avail. Not sure if this relevant, but the b2 shows the Sonos  zone setting as its default display _Kitchen 2 in my case. The CDs have ripped properly and display on the b2.
I'd be very grateful for any help, preferably as low-tech as possible. Thank you all.

Hi Jim,

One possibility is....

Sonos needs to have the metadata tags populated for artist , album title, and track name in order to index your Sonos library.
The B2 does not, as it uses the physical folder and file names to build its index
I suspect that for some reason these tags have not been populated when you ripped these latest CDs.
Was the B2 connected to your network and the internet when you ripped them ?
If you initiate playback of one of these "missing" tracks using the B2 Web UI and playback to your Sonos system does it work ?
What does the Sonos app interface show  once playing ?
The way round it is to add these tags using tagging software on a computer or re-rip on a computer with software that adds the tags and then upload the
ripped files to your B2.
You would need NAS enabled on the B2 and appropriate software on your computer.

Hi Jim,

If you selected Kitchen 2 from 'Pick Zone' on the front panel, the B2 is remember that setting, so that is normal.

When you ripped the later CDs did the B2 find titles for them or did you rip them as Album 123, etc?

If they had titles, at the time of ripping, try this -

Click (press briefly and release) the front control >> turn to Browse Albums >> click >> turn to one of the CDs (not showing up on Sonos) >> click >> turn to 'ReTag Album' >> click.

Now run 'update music library' on the Sonos app.

If this works then it was a 'tagging' issue.
