B2 and Soundcore a1 bluetooth ear buds

I have a B2 running with Sonos one bluetooth speakers. I have just been given Soundcore a1 EarPods. Which are also bluetooth. How do Iget them to connect up with the Brennan?

Hi jrj

It is my understanding that Sonos One speakers connect using WiFi NOT Bluetooth (at least mine do). This would mean that, provided you have a Bluetooth dongle in the back of the B2 (you will also need to keep the WiFi dongle in the other USB port) and you are running the B2B version of the Brennan B2 software, there should be no problem connecting your EarPods. There are Threads on the forum detailing how to connect Bluetooth headsets.

Do the Soundcore Buds have a volume control, as the Bluetooth out from the B2 is at a fixed level?

Hi drlo...,

If they are Bluetooth headphones they need to have their own volume control as the Bluetooth level from the B2 is fixed.

Either purchase a new SD card from the Brennan web site (make sure it is the correct one for your B2), or flash an SD card yourself with the latest software from the Brennan web site following the instructions there on how to do it.I
