Background info. first gen B2

I rip a CD that is not in the database, for sake of argument 654. I come to rename and it has disappeared. Printing and index show me it is at 33 (34 when you come to find it on the knob). I rename it and it disappears. If I turn Sort mode on, I can  track down the tittle alphabetically and change artists , tracks etc.

I specifically ripped certain groups of CD in order so they would play or be found in the correct order.  If I print an index, they are (10) not in ripping order; (2) not alphabetical; (3) not always together; (4) index changes after a scan disc.

Is there a way to force the B2 to show in numerical Rip order?
Print index in numerical rip (disc) order?
Print index Alphabetically (album name)
Print index  Alphabetically by artist?

- I know there was a dropbox link in the distant past, from reading  under organisation, but this no longer functions.

Hi Jeremy,

How are you renaming - using the control knob on the B2 or using the web UI?

What software version are you running - B2 xxxx or B2B xxxx (where xxxx is the date) - press INFO on the remote twice?
