Hi,

My web browser isn't allowing me to upload files to my Brennan currently. I click choose files and nothing happens. Is there something I need to do to get this functionality back?

Kind Regards,

Luke

Hi Luke,

First check that the IP number you are using to get to the Brennan matches what the Brennan is displaying for its IP. (Your Router may have assigned a different IP to the Brennan).

Then, provided your Brennan can play a radio station (this checks that the Connection to your Router and the Internet is working OK) then the problem is with the device which you are using to display the Brennan's web UI.

I would suggest you clear the cache for the browser you are using, reboot the device then open the Web UI again using a new tab and the IP number the Brennan is displaying.

Thanks,

I did that and it still didn't work in Chrome but I managed to get it working in Safari.

Hi Luke,

What software version is the B2 running - press INFO on the remote twice or click the COG wheel icon on the web UI?

Hi Paul,

It says it's running B2B Oct 22 2021.

Kind Regards,

The fact that it worked in Safari, but not in Chrome, shows that the feature is working as far as the B2 is concerned.  Maybe you you have to clear the cached data in Chrome.

Hi Luke,

Further to Daniel's suggestion - close the current web UI page >> go to Settings for Chrome >> more tools >> clear browsing data >> select 'cached images and files' >> open anew browser page >> enter the IP from the B2 manually rather than using a bookmark.
