Web upgrade - time taken to do this

Good morning all

After many hours of trouble free listening to my B2 I checked the issue status and noticed that it had moved on from B2B Mar 21 to B2B Jul 21. So I went to settings and "Web Upgrade" and  pushed the knob. The display now states "Rebooting Software Upgraded", it has been like this for around 20 minutes and seems to have frozen (no sound of anything working inside.

How long would this upgrade be expected to take and if it has frozen what safe action can I take to recover my B2B to working order.

If it helps or is relevant I have around 4600 discs, 86000 tracks on the HD in FLAC format, nothing else.

Hi Brian,

I expect the software has updated and the B2 has failed to reboot for some reason. If you haven't already powered it off, try pressing the Play/Stop button and if that doesn't work power off, wait 30s and power on.

Hi Paul

Yep all working again thanks for the help. Just worried that the "Rebooting" was still operating hence my question rather than just power off and on again.

Now upgraded to B2B Aug 2nd

Have to add that the B2 works really well with a JBL Charge 5 over Bluetooth and as I leave my B2 powered up all the time with no display, when I turn on the JBL it syncs with the B2 and then just press play with it on random it starts to play and allows me to move the speaker around depending on what room I am in. Have to say that after an interesting start with the B2 it is possibly the best bit of kit I have in respect of listening to my music collection.
