Loading You Tube videos to the BB1

I’ve successfully used the Web UI to load You Tube videos simply by searching and playing through the BB1. Once played the videos are saved. However, I’m currently getting a message when I try to load which says “that didnt work. Try again”. I’ve tried rebooting the system, reinstalling to Web UI on my devices and I’ve checked that videos I want are still working OK on You Tube normally. Has anyone had the same problem and any idea how to solve it please?

Have you updated to the latest software?

There have been some you tube changes incorporated into this

Hi Karen,

Try doing a Web Upgrade - Settings > Maintenance > Web Upgrade.

I’ll try that again, thanks, but I’ve only had the BB1 since Christmas and I did an upgrade when I first connected it to my network.  Has there been a web upgrade since December 25th.

Yes 31st December due to some you tube changes

Thanks for that.  I’ve just done another web upgrade but still getting the same error message when truing to upload You Tube videos.  I’ve changed rooms to check the WiFi strength but the signal seems ok.  What can I try next?

Hi Karen,

On your computer/tablet try 'clearing browser data', open a new browser page and start a new web Ui page.

Also on the BB1 press and hold the POWER button until the BB1 restarts - 6-7s - and the 'brennan' screen is shown. This is a full reset.

If this doesn't help please give some examples of videos that will not load so we can also check them out.

Thanks Paul, that seems to work.  Although clearing the web UI from my browser history takes several attempts before it will go away.  It seems reluctant to be banished, Even when I do a hard shut down on my tablet The IP address still pops back up when I reboot.  However, I’ve managed to load the videos I wanted.
