JB7 not working

Hi,
I have not used my JB7 for a while (I also have a B2) plugged it into the wall socket and heard a sound like a fuse blowing (the on/off switch might have been in the on position)
I have have tried a couple of new fuses but it's dead any ideas/help would be appreciated as their is thousands of music tracks on it.
It's not the socket as other equipment works ok.
