Hi

Is it possible to put a defined selection of CDs on some sort of backup device so I can create more space on the B2's hard drive?

You can put anything you like on an external backup (export) drive and delete stuff from the internal drive. It is the deleting that frees up space.

However, stuff on the backup drive cannot be in playlists, nor can it be played in anything other than the stored sequence. There is also a fairly small limit on how many external tracks can be indexed.
