CD to JB7 from PC

Here's an interesting issue.

With the B2, if there is a problem with loading a CD, I rip it on my PC, transfer to a flash drive and then load it to the B2. Works fine.

I can't seem to do this with the JB7. I have tried various folder structures on the flash drive, ripping as wav files and ripping as mp3 files. When I use the 'restore from USB' function, nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

Hi, the JB7 will accept either wave or mp3 but on my unit I’ve found that mp3s seem to copy across more successfully.  Copy the album tracks within a folder named as follows:

artist name followed by three spaces and then the album title.

Put this folder on a usb stick (into the root directory).  Plug USB into JB7.  Go to the USB function menu on the JB7 and select upload albums (I think it is the last option in the USB function menu)..  The JB7 scans the USB and copies the album to the hard drive.

I do this all the time and it works fine.  Interestingly this function is not listed in a lot of the JB7 documentation.
