Equalizer settings not being saved

HI folks, I enabled the EQ.  It rebooted the B2 afterwards, then, I tried to move knobs, and  pressed the Close button.  Next time, when I went back to EQ, only the enable check box was checked, but the knobs all went back to the left like never been set before.  Why?

Hi Billy,

Have you tried setting the EQ levels then on the B2 front panel press and hold the 'Play/Stop' button until you get the message 'Saving' on the display?

Then power the B2 down and back up and see if the EQ settings are as you set them.

BTW, that is the recommended way of always shutting down the B2.

Hi Billy,

I have just gone through the procedure as shown above and my B2 has preserved the changes that I made to the equaliser. I powered my B2 down and back up and my changed settings were there.

One thing to note, in the 'Equaliser' window, there is a tickbox called 'Enabled'.  This needs to be ticked.

Other that that, I'm out of ideas at the moment!

Are the settings per album, or for the entire device ?

EQ settings are for the entire device - for everything you play.

The settings are for the entire device.  Currently, there is no provision for the settings to work by album.
