Hi

When I open the UI on my laptop the artists panel randomly shows an artist. This changes each time I open the UI. I cannot change the view by selecting another album. I can play any album but the artist view does not change. This has only just started to happen. I have run the software update and am now unsure what to do.

Try clearing the browsers cash on the laptop, then reconnecting to the B2 using a new web page using the B2's current IP number.

Also check the strength of the WiFi signal that the B2 is seeing.

Hi Adrian,

It also sounds like that the Brennan's internal database may have got it's knickers in a twist... A 'Scan Disk' will fix that. This usually happens to me (my Brennan's, not my personal knickers), when I have ripped & compressed several CDs in one go.

Hi Adrian,

Run 'Scan Disk' from the Settings menu - this will rebuild the internal database the B2 uses to locate and play your music.

If that doesn't help, close the current web UI page >> go to Settings for the browser >> select More Tools (Win 10) >> select Clear browsing data >> select 'Cached images and files'.

Open a new browser page >> enter the complete IP, from the B2, manually, rather than using a bookmark, shortcut or prompt.

I have run 'scan disk' and cleared by browser cache but it has not made any difference.

Hi Adrian,

have you checked your Wi-Fi strength ?

From the menu

>SETTINGS>MAINTENANCE>WIFI STRENGTH

the lower the number the better and if above 60 it may be problematic for the B2

Are you on the latest B2 software ? If not try a Web Upgrade of the software.

Wifi strength is 35 and web upgrade but still no change.
