I admit, I'm dealing with dinner and my birthday, so I haven't done any research, but I was wondering, is there a supported path to adding my iTunes purchased songs to the B2?

Thanks for any insights or help.

If you purchased the music within ITunes form apple, then there is (I believe) a problem in that Apple add  Digital Rites Management (DRM) stuff into their supplied music which makes it difficult to move to any other platform (Apple locks you in to just using their devices/systems).
I believe there may be a way of stripping the DRM off your music. Others on this forum may be able to advise how to do but it is, I fear, not going to be easy.

I know I purchased DRM free versions (when that was vogue)... So I'll dig further.

Just thinking about it.  I have multiple back ups and I'm not worried.

Hi Justin,

You can make a copy of your iTunes library to an external USB device and use that to import the music to the B2. I found lots of info online for how to do the iTunes part, including on the Apple site.

The music must be in M4A or ALAC (not AIFF), FLAC or MP3 format and be arranged by Artist - Album - Tracks (which iTunes normally does).
