Hi,  When I tune to Radio Scotland (MW) a message comes up stating

"BBC radio programs are no longer available on this device, please contact the device manufacturer for further information"

My BB1 Brennan version is "BB1 Mar 22 2021" so up to date.

Thanks

Ross

vTuner have updated some but not every last one of the BBC streams to use the new URLs that the BBC have switched to. I have verified that the new URL for Radio Scotland (MW) seems to be

Perhaps if you were to contact vTuner.com and give them a nudge they would finish the job they started a few weeks ago (many of the other BBC streams were brought up to date a while back).

Hi Ross,

I noticed that BBC Radio Scotland 95 FM plays OK - is it the same as (MW)?

Also, if the BBC schedule pages (online) are anything to go by, Radio Scotland FM is the same as Radio Orkney, and MW is the same as Radio Shetland -- both of which seem to work.

Ross has enlightened me (a little!): "BBC Scotland is National but diverts to regional areas during the news and goes back to Radio Scotland.  So Radio Shetland Radio Orkney, Radio Highlands & Islands etc etc all are Radio Scotland !  Confused yet !

The MW channel is sort of unique in that it is the same channel but obviously different studios splitting between Sport (Radio MW) & Music (Radio FM) at night."

Obviously I became confused when the BBC's (atrociously [IMHO] redesigned) schedule pages listed only two of the many possibilities and referred to them as "FM" and "MW". I wish I knew when vTuner would manage to update all their links -- but if you are feeling adventurous and have some skill at editing text files with vi it does seem to be possible to edit the lines that hold the "presets" inside the b2settings file. Just change the existing line for Radio Scotland MW to
and save the file again.
