CD-Ripper

Can anyone tell me if the AK CD-Ripper MKII will work with the B2 or does anyone have any recommendations of a good CD-Ripper?

Any CD ripper you get will run on a computer.  As long as you rip to one of the following, the files should be compatible with the B2: WAV, FLAC, MP3, all at 16 bits, 44.1 Kbps.  It's best, and quicker to rip to the final desired format so the B2 doesn't have to do any conversion.
