Parking the HDD

I understand the B1 HDD can be parked when it needs to be moved; can the B2B HDD be parked? Thanks.

Hi Mike,

There is no 'Park HDD' function on any of the Brennan models.

For the B2, the shutdown procedure is to press and hold down the 'Play/Stop' button on the front panel until the message 'Saving' is diplayed then release the button.  The B2 HDD will automatically park the disk heads during the shutdown process.

For the BB1, this unit does not have an HDD fitted, but the correct poerdown for this unit is to press the 'Power' button once, them you will see a message on the screen 

'Power Off - Are You Sure?  Press Power again to Confirm' .  Then press 'Power' again and the BB1 will power down.
