Baby Brennan or B2 shuffle facility

I am interested in buying a Brennan to replace a defunct mp3 player. I want to know if either models play the library of music tracks in in shuffle or random mode

yes, there is a random play and you can also create playlists and use random within them to prevent musical car crashes.  Norm

I don't know if the BB1 has a shuffle mode of any kind and it's not mentioned on the Brennan website but I'm sure an owner will be along shortly to offer more info. I would add that the shuffle options on the B2 are quite limited. You can only shuffle either your entire music collection or, if you create playlists, you can shuffle them. 

As you said you were replacing an MP3 player I thought this worth mentioning as the MP3 players I've owned offer a wealth of random/shuffle modes which are sadly missing from the B2.

On the Brennan website, on the page for BB1 Menu Summary, it says there is a selection on the main menu to "Turn Random mode on."

Hi John,

After power the BB1 on, pressing the NEXT button starts the BB1 playing a random track and selects random (Shuffle) play mode.
