Bluetooth Dongle

I bought a tp-link UB5A Bluetooth 5.3 dongle for my Brennan B2 on the basis that one reviewer said it worked with Raspberry Pi. Inserting this into the USBC port gave a 'Bluetooth: ready' signal but I was unable to pair it with my Android phone or tablet because the B2 was not identified. The dongle also interfered with normal operationof the B2 eg playing a single track when a full album was selected to play. Consequently, I don't know if the dongle was faulty or incompatible. Can anyone recommend a dongle that works with the B2? Thanks
