IPod sync

I bought the B2 to import an iPod Classic with 12000 songs but the B2 shows  SAVING’ and the red light flashes. None of the buttons get me out of this and the iPod says its connected and to stop before Disconnecting. Again, none of the controls work. Thanks, Andrew

Hi Andrew,

How are you connecting the iPod to the B2?  You cannot connect the iPod directly to the B2, rather you should connect the iPod to a PC or Mac and transfer the music through iTunes which is running on the Pc or Mac.

The B2 should be connected to the same router (either wired or WiFi) that the PC/ Mac is connected to.

Before buying the B2 I checked and Gerard advised it can be imported through USB C. I assumed that was  a direct connection as there aas no mention of iTunes. Any idea how I get out of the loop it’s in?

Try unplugging the iPod hold play stop tosee if anything changes if not you will have to power cycle the B2

The Import command on the B2 allows you to load music from a USB drive plugged into the USB port.  The music files must be organized in a top level folder named music, which contains folders each named for an Artist, each of which contains folders named for an Album, each of which contains the song files.

music\Artist\Album\tracks

The song files must be of one of these formats:  WAV, FLAC, MP3 or AAC.
