Cant download album database network error

I am trying to download both the JB7 and B2 album database and both of them go through the google download process to the point where in theory they should download, but 1/2-2MB in they slow down and tell me that they cant download network error. Now I can see that might be a problem on a slow network but I have 60Mb/s reliable bandwidth and even on 4G I get the same effect - so tried 2 PC and a phone and 3 networks. Am I missing something really obvious here   ?

Hi Phil,

I have just done Google downloads of each of the CDDB databases.  The JB7 version took about 25 seconds and the B2 version took just under 2 minutes, so the Brennan site is working correctly.

Perhaps a reboot of your router would clear the problem?

Thank you for the response. However as you will see from the original post I have already tried 2 different networks plus a 4G connection on a phone. I have tried on my home PC, I have tried on my work PC and I have tried on my phone.   ALL  of these give me basically the same response. I get told that google cant scan this file for virus and then I select download anyway and then I get told of a network issue. Now I am prepared to believe that rebooting my home router ( which I have tried ) might fix one of the routes but I think its highly unlikely that my Phone on 4G is somehow corrupted in the same way that my PC on a home network is.   

Sorry the pic is small I seem to have transferred it as a small image but you will see the basic fault is that there is a network error downloading from google. 

Is it possible for example that you have to use google drive rather than go in without login. Anyway whatever other suggestion would be welcome. failing that I have a JB7 with a very old database and no way to update it.

Hi Phil,

Not sure what's going on but just downloaded 'sqdb.zip (347MB)' from Google Drive and it took just over a minute on my setup.

AudioTech - our service agent - can supply a memory stick with the database onboard for around a £10 including postage. They can be contacted on -  audiotechcontact  @  gmail  .  com  - no spaces.
