B2 software

my  2TB B2 software is "Software Version B2 Jun 2 2020 08:02:14"; however i see B2B software  is required for Spotify; do i require a new sd card what is the difference?

Hi James,

The B2B software has a much updated Bluetooth capability.  You have two options available which are:

1. Order a new (micro)SD card from Brennan with the B2B software installed or

2. Reflash your existing (micro)SD card using the Brennan supplied software file.

Brennan has supplied the instructions for the reflashing. The instructions might look a bit daunting, but in reality the process is reasonably straight-forward.  Here is the link.

You will find the item 'New SD Card' in the left hand window.

Is your B2 the early model (with the SD card protruding out of the case, or the later model with the microSD card inside the case?
