Ok Brennan,
I'm not a particularly "tech" oriented consumer, but I know enough that if I can't make something work, and I've spent $$ on a product, that that product is borderline DEFECTIVE since I'm sharper than the "average consumer" when it comes to figuring out how basic tech devices should work.
I purchased the Brennan about 6 months ago from Amazon. I wanted it because it advertises itself as a high quality, virtually lossless method of storing ALL of my purchased CDs on it and THEN I WOULD BE ABLE TO CREATE PLAYLISTS THAT MIXED AND MATCHED MY CDS CONTENT. Is that hard to understand??? I believe MOST consumers of my "ilk" bought the damn thing in order to do this...otherwise, the product is a "paperweight" sitting on my entertainment center...I have a CD player already.
The problem is that the device/Brennan DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO PLAY THE MATERIAL CONTINUOUSLY. Meaning I can't play more than ONE SONG after I download/rip the CD into the Brennan. I also cannot make playlists out of the material after I've imported/ripped my CDs...I have to play ONE SONG AT A TIME and then the Brennan stops playing...so if I want to continue to hear the ripped album...I have to manually click on the next song...I become a DJ at that point.
This problem I've had makes the Brennan an overpriced hard drive with shitty software...
There HAS TO BE A SIMPLE FIX to this. I am on a Mac/Apple system...mostly I try and play the Brennan from the software for my laptopMacbook.
C'mon Brennan...I've lost my patience with this device. I can't be the only one that is having this ridiculous problem. Fix it so that the product does the most basic task that it claims to do!
