For those of you copying vinyl I've found an exceptional program which I've used for years. It cleans up most "errors" in vinyl beautifully and it's very reasonably priced.  This is NOT a paid for ad!!  It's Wave Corrector at this site : http://testing.wavecor.co.uk/index.html

I would request, if possible, that the software would allow for folders within folders and a way to exclude those folders from the automatic (random) play list.  For example : I would like to put all my Christmas/Seasonal albums in a folder and have the automatically generated playlist exclude them.  An exclusion list that could be activated or deactivated manually!!

Many of us wish for a way to exclude holiday music.  In the meantime, how about this work-around:

Create a new playlist - name it Christmas.  Put all your Christmas albums in it.

Create a new playlist - name it All but Christmas, or similar.

Select it as the current playlist.

Choose "Combine Playlists."

Append > "All Music" to "All but Christmas"

Choose "Combine Playlists."

Subtract > "Christmas" from "All but Christmas"

Now you can play everything but Christmas music, either sequentially or randomly.
