Hi all,

There is something strange going on with my B2 which I'm hoping someone can shed light on. The optical output has left and right channels reversed compared to the analogue output. This is both off the hard disc and also when playing a CD directly.  Sadly the analogue output is the correct version, ie it is the same as my other CD player and also all music streaming services.  I've checked via 3 different DACs and on numerous headphones, so I'm sure the problem is within the Brennan.
One solution would be to swap the RCA cables from the DAC to the amp, but my preferred DAC is integrated into the amp, so not an option. I could also swap the speaker cables over on the amp and also reverse all other sources, but I'm a keen headphone user and my particular cans are left/right specific, so again not an option.
I'm moderately technical, but am stumped by this. I've tried the off/on, scan disc and software update options, but to no avail.
Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Sean

Sean

In the Maint Menu there is a Left/Right swap, specifically for optical.

Thanks Keith,
All fine now. Strange that the default config was reversed compared to normal, but happy anyway.
