Hi,
Not been on the forum for a while, but is there a way to move from the B2 version of the software to the B2B version? I have scanned the website and cannot see anything on whether its possible.

Hi Chris,

there are two ways to update to B2B. You can't do it via a Web upgrade from the menu.
B2B needs a later version of the Linux operating system so can't be simply upgraded in situ.

1. Download the software and create a new bootable SD card as described here

You will need a new blank SD card, ,an SD card reader/writer and of course a computer as above.

2. Order a new SD card loaded with the B2B software from Brennan

The best thing is to email   thebrennanb2  @  gmail  .  com  - no spaces.
Tell them what model of B2 you have, when you purchased it and where you are in the world.
Also whether you have  B2 with the larger side mounted SD card or the micro SD card which sits inside the B2 case.
Paul from Brennan will pick up your email and/or pick up your need from this thread.
Make sure you say you want the card loaded with the B2B software though that may now be the default.

Thanks brilliant, thanks for replying John. I will probably go the route of ordering a pre-loaded SD card from Brennan. Chris

Chris, I found this video helpful when I changed my SD card.  Shows where the SD card is and how to get access to it.

You don't have to take off the front or unplug any cables when you're changing the SD card.  You might not even have to remove the four screws on the bottom of the device, I can't remember.  Anyway, you slide the innards out the back just enough so you can reach the SD card, press in until it pops out, and switch in the new one.  Paying attention to the orientation of the old card when you're removing it is a good idea.  I did this switch with no problems, and if I can, anybody can.

Hi Chris,

You don't need to take the front panel section off, as per the video, to access the SD Card. Remove the two upper screws from the rear panel (they are marked with a  > ) and use a thin screwdriver in one of the slots, to prise the rear panel out. Only pull the rear section out by 40mm otherwise you may pull the CD Drive connection off.
