I've just started ripping some CDs and have  a question
I am using Flac format and have ripped 24 CDs
Checking with the remote it says 316 WAV 0 FLAC 64 MP3
Why are there no Flac files?
The web interface says the compression mode is Flac
Thanks for any advice
John

The music tracks are ripped in the native WAV format.  Once the B2 enters standby, it will automatically start compressing the tracks to FLAC format.  Standby is entered after 5 minutes of inactivity, and with no connection to the WebUI.  Or, once you have shut down the WebUI, you can run the command to Compress Now (found in the Settings menu).

The recommended practice is to rip 20 - 30 albums and then let the B2 do the compression overnight.  Then start again the next day.

Good news. After leaving to run overnight I've now got 401 Flac files. Thanks for your help
