I'm finally up and running but only in analog. My receiver only has RCA inputs. Can't seem to find a cable with 2 Banana plugs into two RCA plugs. Any suggestions?

Short answer: don't do it. The banana plug outputs on the B2 send the full, final stage amplifier output to passive speakers. It would damage your receiver's input side, which needs a lower, "line out" signal.

You need a cable with a "stereo 3.5mm minijack" on one end, splitting to two RCA plugs on the other. The minijack goes into the B2's combined analogue line out/optical output socket which gives a signal at the right level to go into an external amplifier.

PS the B2 volume generally needs to be set high - around 60 - to get the right line out level for most amplifier inputs. Leave it there and use the volume control on the receiver. Turn that one down before you start.

Hi Richard,

If you are wanting to use the digital audio out from the B2, you'll need an external DAC with an optical input. This will convert the optical (digital) signal from the B2 to an analogue one suitable for your receiver.

The optical (digital) out on the B2 shares the same connector as 'Line Out' and uses a mini TOS Link connector. The cable you need for this looks like this -

Or just continue using the analogue connection, as it sounds like you have that working. Remember to turn up the volume on the B2 to 60.
