I have installed Librespot onto the B2 (from Settings-> Advanced -> etc) that now allows me to stream Spotify from my phone to the Brennan.  Is there a similar installation option that will allow me to do the same with Amazon Music Unlimited?  The HD sound is much better on Amazon MU. Thks

Hi ,

the B2 and BB1 do not support Amazon Music in the same way as they do Spotify

As far as I am aware Amazon do not publish any public application programming interfaces (APIs)

You can "cast" from another device running the Amazon app to an Alexa enabled device for playback

This is how Sonos integrates Amazon Music

You could potentially send Amazon Music output from a bluetooth enabled device running the Amazon Music app to your B2 via Bluetooth.

I have done this from my PC to my bluetooth enabled amp/receiver but not to my B2

Amazon is integrated into some devices, for example Bluesound and more recent Marantz products, but I don't think there's an equivalent to Spotify Connect. My Bluesound streamer recognises and plays a version of my Amazon library in the BlueOS app, but I have to go to the Amazon Music app to edit it.

Speaking of Spotify, you say you are streaming it to your B2 from your phone. If that's right, it may not be getting you the best possible sound. Librespot  allows the B2 to be recognised as a Spotify Connect device in the Spotify app. Thus the B2 streams the music direct from the internet, not via a phone. The phone only acts as a remote control and no Bluetooth connection is needed.

Sorry Davy, I didn't make myself clear. I am using Spotify Connect -> Connect to a device-> Select a Device and then choosing Brennan from the devices listed.

Thks John.  I felt this was probably the case.  I already use AMU through my Sonos but I like the convenience of the B2 when working at the desk.  I find that choosing the speakers with B2 and Sonos system (to use AMU via Sonos and back into the Brennan wired speakers on the desk) a very "hit and miss" affair and is never particularly reliable or easy to control.

Hi carj...,

If your B2 is connected via WiFi I would check the signal level at the B2 - Settings >> Maintenance >> WiFi Strength. It needs to be around -50dBm for reliable operation.
