The website says that using an external CD ripper with the B2 will give faster ripping and save wear on the internal B2 ripper.  Both true.  Unfortunately you have to plug the external ripper into the USB that is used to connect to the internet & that connection is lost. On my B2 the result is that the internal CD database gives bizarre, totally wrong titles to many CDs, leaving me with a big renaming task. Is there any way round this problem?

I use a separate CD player plugged into USB-C so I can still use the Wifi dongle. Works fine

Move the WiFi USB dongle to the B2's other USB port.

Hi albar,

I think you will find that the external CD Drive will work in either USb port as will the WiFi dongle.

Make sure the B2 is powered off before plugging the CD drive in or swapping the WiFi dongle to another port.

I use a 4 port hub connected to one of the USB ports at the back of my B2. This allows me to plug in both USB power and data cables for my LG CD ripper.
