B2 not uploading files.

Hi all, I updated the software on my B2 this week. Since then I've been unable to upload any files on to the B2 from my laptop.

Can anyone help?
Oh, and I tried emailing Brennan - their email address was not recognised. Does anyone know they're current email address?

can you you expand on what symptoms, messages (if any),  you are seeing when you try to upload ?

I assume you can see and select the tracks you want to upload when you use th "Choose File" dialogue ?

From experience the B2 does not like uploading album or or track names with some special character like ":"

Hi,

You're correct, I can select the track I'm trying to upload. When I click on 'send to Brennan', it just spools and doesn't send the track.

I haven't tried to use a USB stick to import the track as I want it in a specific file (these are a collection of demos that a band I follow releases regularly). As I wrote earlier, this is only happening since I allowed the software update.

What are the file names of the files you are uploading?

If you can take a screenshot on your pc/Mac Filene’s and attach it would be good.

 As soon as I hit 'Send to Brennan', it just starts spooling and nothing further happens. File format is .wav. Not had a problem with this format until now.

Hi,

I assume this is happening whether you select a single file or select many.

I can't reproduce your problem on my B2 so will have to defer to others who may be able to offer an insight but if you could screenshot the properties of one of the files causing the problem and post it it may help.

In Windows File Explorer you can right click on the file and choose Properties from the drop down to get some like the attached

Mmmm, stranger still. Tried an mp3 version of this track. Uploaded straight away. Seems to just have an issue with this file in particular.

WAV files will take considerably longer to upload.  During that time, if you have a weak WiFi signal, there is more opportunity for the B2 to lose track of what it's doing.  What is your WiFi signal strength?

I have noticed sometimes that the web UI says it has finished uploading but the red LED on the B2 is still flashing (indicating that is is still busy).
