Christmas Play list

Hi,

I put my Christmas CDs on my Brennan B2 before Christmas. Unlike previous years due to creating a list called Black List I have not removed them.

When I play my music on random which is my preferred option I still get Christmas tracks played. I thought by creating Black List and putting all my CDs in it this wouldn’t happen. My B2 is approximately 5 years old. I can confirm that after setting up. I did do a scan disc.

What have I done wrong in setting this up? or have others experienced this issue?. I would like to say that the B2 is a fantastic piece of equipment.

Hi  John,

in your post you wrote "Black list".

Is this exactly how you have named it , i.e. with a space between black and list ?

I think that it has to be named "Blacklist", no space

Thank you for your quick reply. I have indeed created the list as two words. I will alter to one and see what happens.

Hi John,

The software on the B2 must be at least 'B2B Jul 20 2021' as this was the version that 'Blacklist' was implemented on.  It was originally only supplied on the 'B2B' version and I don't know if it was released on the 'B2' software set.

Ok, Thanks Peter.

Will see what happens  with renaming the list as John suggested. I am up to date on the available software which I thought was available for my B2. Will keep you posted on what happens. Hopefully no Christmas music. John.
