BB1 question

I have just got a BB1 and am getting to know it.  I am fine with the radio stations in my case I live in the US so I had to include some local stations in the Pre sets.

I am not able to 1) get any You tube at all and I have tried many times with names and URLs, what am I doing wrong?

2) I connected my mp3 player through the USB port bur still could not play the files on my mp3 player through the BB1.  I dont even see the music at all.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Wilbur,

1. YouTube may require a software update - use the top control to go to Settings & Tools >> Maintenance >> Web Upgrade to get the latest software.

If that doesn't work - close the current web UI page >> go to Settings for the browser >> clear browser data (for Chrome, etc select 'cached images and files') >> open a new browser page >> enter the IP from the BB1 in manually (rather than using a bookmark).

2. The BB1 will not directly interface with the MP3 player. You will need to copy the music on the player to your computer and from there to the BB1. You can do this using 'Upload' over WiFi or using a USB memory stick.

The music to be copied over must be arranged by Artist - Album - Tracks. Please see our 'Organising your music' page - link - on the website.
