Inability to reconnect b2 to Wi-Fi and Internet

It took me hours to connect my b2 to my network and the internet. I had to enter the SSID password four or five times before success. When I turned the B2 back on, it cannot find the network it had previously found, and I cannot ping the device IP address. The Wi-Fi dongle is 6" away from the router, and four other devices in the room all connect every time. What gives? This is horrible.

It should not be like that.

First power off your B2
Then reboot your house Router ( power it off wait 30 seconds and power it on again  then wait 5 mins for it to sort its self out).
Then boot up your B2 again.
This may cure the problem.

If id odes not then run this B2 command form the front panel

Then set your B2 WiFi up again form scratch.

If this does not cure your problem
Move your WiFi Dongle to the other B2 USB port and try again.

If that does not work then there is a hardware problem (probably a bad WiFi dongle?). If your B2 is new, then please report back as to the outcome of these steps and
Paul from Brennan will pick up on this Forum Thread advise you what to do when he reads it tomorrow morning.

Hi msgs4...,

If the above suggestions don't help try moving the B2 further away from the router - evidently a WiFi signal can be too high and cause signal distortion.

If all fails please email us on -  thebrennanb2  @  gmail  .  com  - no spaces, with a brief description of the problem and we will get it sorted for you.

Hi msgs4,

Also meant to say, if you get the B2 connect to WiFi, press and hold the Play/Stop button until 'saving' is displayed, to force a save of the WiFi credentials.
