Hi All

If one wanted to interface an external DAC with the B2, how would that be done (which port, etc)?

The headphone port is also an optical port. Just plug in an optical cable to the DAC (you will need a jack style optical plug for the B2 end or a converter adapter)

Hi Todd,

The connector on the B2 is called a 'mini TOS Link' and you can either buy a 'mini TOS Link to TOS Link cable' or a 'mini adapter' for a standard TOS Link cable (for the B2 end). The DAC will almost certainly have a standard TOS Link socket (the larger plug).

The output level from the optical/DAC will be at a fixed level so it is up to the connected equipment to adjust the volume.
