Unable to "see" my network

I have just bought a new laptop but I am unable to set up my network connection to it because it cannot "See" my network.  Can anyone offer any help or advice?

If your problem is with the laptop and not with a Brennan product, perhaps asking the laptop manufacturer would yield better results.
