hi, i've successfully and happily loaded about800 CDs on the B2.  It plays well via bluetooth through my PC to a bluetooth yamaha amp and wired speakers.  Now the PC will play I tunes via bluetooth to the klipsch 3  - a powered bluetooth speaker.  I can also play amazon music, itunes, you tube, etc through the klipsch from my iphone.
Question;  How can i play brennan source through the Klipsch?  thanks
Joe

There is a wealth of information on the Brennan website:  www (dot brennan (dot) co (dot) uk
In particular there is a page for Bluetooth here:  Bluetooth
Scroll about half way down the page to where it says Bluetooth Out.

i appreciate the reply but that doesn't work.  I think this bluetooth device is one of those that is incompatible, although I don't understand why as the B2 literature says it'll pair with any device.  I can pair the Klipsch with my iphone reliably, it shows up in settings, I can connect or disconnect it; i can see the Brennan in Windows and the Iphone app, and I can see the Klipsch in windows, but I cannot seem to find the Klipsch on the app.  I go to bluetooth, and scan but it doesn't find the Klipsch.  It's just one of those maddening incompatibilities about computers.  Hell, half the time I can play Itunes through my PC to a bluetooth Yamaha with wired speakers.  Half the time I can't.  You guys have no idea how much nicer life was in the pre computer days.  You would get up, put a CD in the CD player, hit CD on your receiver and you'd have a CD.,  But you'd actually have to get out of a chair to do it.  Well, i didn't buy the B2 to connect primarily to my Klipsch, but it wouldve been nice if it did.

Please could you tell us which version of the Brennan Software your B2 is using.
From the Web UI click on the "cog" icon and this will tell you, or, pres "info" on the B2 remote twice and look at the front display of the B2.
The B2's most up to date software for working with Bluetooth is that which starts "B2B" rather than "B2".
The Bluetooth connectivity provided on a Brennan is that which is part of the underlying Linux operating software (not something written by Brennan) and should work to industry standard.

Hi Joe,

physically how far apart are the B2, amp, PC and your Klipsch speaker ?
Bluetooth devices typically need to be with 30ft of each other so it could be the klipsch is out of range of the B2 ?

Joe replied direct via email

" Thanks john.  They are all probably within 15-20 feet.  Good point however.  "

Joe,

another thought. Can you get your Yamaha amp to see your Klipsch speaker over Bluetooth ?

I'm not sure why Joe chose to reply to me personally, but here is what he said:

"Many thanks.  Got it figured out.  I updated the Brennan software then was able to pair to klipsch.  It was the Klipsch mostly because it was a pain to pair with two separate sources.
But now it’s done.  Thanks
Joe"
