Gretchen Ferenz-Fox shared your contact with me so that you might help me spread the word about the Green Committee's exciting event tomorrow: 

The EmPower Solar - "Breezy Solar Bank Kickoff" event will be taking place tomorrow,  Sunday, November 10th from 1 - 3pm at the Colony Theater. 

EmPower Solar is a leading solar installer in the NYC. After Sandy, EmPower has chosen Breezy Point as the community they'd like to provide with special incentives to go solar as we rebuild. They will be funding a "community solar bank," making an initial deposit of $1,000 and putting in $200 for every home that chooses to go solar. From the "community bank," we can fund solar installation on Breezy building - like the fire departments or the Learning Center. 

A solar system can hep you reduce or eliminate your electric bill in 5 - 10 years, and the costs can be covered up to 60% with local, state, and federal tax incentives. EmPower will be in Breezy Point tomorrow answering questions and providing information to residents. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to learn more about going green and SAVING green!
