LimitlessPossibilities with Describe Scene:

The new 'Describe Scene' feature is designed to understand the world around you with incredible depth and precision. We encourage you to explore its capabilities, test its limits, and share your feedback with us. Your experiences are invaluable in our continuous effort to improve and innovate.

Building on the multilingual support introduced in Ask Envision (version 2.3), this latest update brings the convenience of Multilingual Voice Commands to you. In version 2.4, you can now use voice commands in your preferred language. Simply select your language, press the hinge button on your Envision Glasses, and command your device to activate the desired feature.

Introducing Envision Glasses 2.3: Discover a world of enhanced detail and seamless interaction with our latest update, featuring an enriched 'Describe Scene' experience and multilingual support for 'Ask Envision'. Your vision, reimagined.

We're thrilled to announce that the latest Envision Glasses 2.3 update brings an even richer experience to your 'Describe Scene' feature. Just in the latest release, we elevated its capabilities to paint a clearer picture of your surroundings. Now, we've turbocharged it to deliver hyper-detailed narratives of everything within your view. As this is a beta feature, please allow for some room for refinement. We're eager for you to explore its potential!

Prepare for an added layer of interaction with your surroundings! The 'Describe Scene' feature is now integrated with 'Ask Envision', our intuitive powerful visual assistant. This enhancement, already a favorite within the 'Scan Text' Reader, allows you to inquire further into the scenes you capture. Imagine being told there are flowers before you; now you can query the number, color, and even the species of these blooms. Dive into a world of interactive possibilities!

For example, after scanning a menu, you could ask Envision, 'What are the vegetarian options available?' and receive a helpful response. This feature is powered by GPT-4 by OpenAI, one of the most advanced language models in the world, to understand and answer natural language questions.

Please note that since this feature uses ChatGPT, it may occasionally produce inaccurate information about people, places, or facts. For more detailed instructions and examples, check out the video tutorial below.

This feature aims to make it easier for new and existing users to stay connected anywhere, anytime. To access the Wi-Fi Wizard, navigate to the sub-menu Wi-Fi, in the Settings menu or the sub-menu Trainings, in the Help menu, and perform a one-finger double tap to start the guide. Simply follow the instructions to get connected.

They should both now perform optimally. There are more minor fixes and improvements that make for a smoother experience of using Envision Glasses. We hope this marks the beginning of many more great updates we have in the pipeline for the year 2023!

We will continue to add more features and languages to Voice Commands and improve its ability to understand what you need. We eagerly look forward to your feedback on how you would like to see this feature evolve in the future! Until then, your voice is our command.

This update is significantly bigger in size than the updates that you're used to and that's because we are packing some significant firmware changes in this. This greatly boosts the performance and battery life. This allows us to have our AI do a lot more on the small processors of the glasses. Watch this video as Maria from Envision, given you an overview of how this update works:

One of the great feature this update brings is called Smart Guidance. It's a simple, yet effective way, to make sure you capture your complete document while using the Scan Text feature. Developing this feature on smartglasses was no easy task, but our team of engineers and group of beta testers channeled their energies to make this a reality.

In addition to making sure the entire document is captured, this method also ensures that only the text in the document in your hand is read, ignoring any text that might be in the backgroud. So no more picking up stray texts from your surroundings.

The other great addition to this feature is Layout Detection, which analyses the text captures and identifies elements such as columns, paragraphs and headers. This makes it easier to read text that appears in columns (like those in magazines or newspapers) in the correct reading order. It will also speak out Headings as 'Headings' so you know. Layout Detection can be enabled or disabled from the context menu (two-finger-single-tap) of Scan Text.

Going forward, we will also start identifying elements in a document, to make sure you read everything the way you were supposed to.

Here's Ferkan from Envision, with a quick explainer video about Layot Detection.

Those are all the major development with this update. There are several under the hood improvments that ensures that your Envision experience stays buttery smooth. We would love for you to play around with these new features and share your experiences with us. Happy Envisioning

Reading text instantly just got a whole lot better!

The offline version of our instant text just received a major upgrade. It is now much more accurate and faster than ever before, making it the best companion to have for all the short pieces of text you wish to read on the go!

We have also worked on adding more scripts to our offline instant text recognition. You can now read Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Devanagari (Hindi) scripts, completely offline with the Instant Text feature.

We hope you enjoy these improvements. Our team is hard at work to bring more major upgrades to you shortly, so stay tuned!

Under the hood improvements

In this update we also improved the performance of our functions within the Identify and Find tab. The new Detect Light implementation also makes it faster and provides more detailed variation in lower light settings. Overall, the Envision Glasses are now even smoother and faster than ever!

To upgrade from previous version, first remove the old version using the "Add/remove programs" option in the Windows control panel. Then simply install the new version into the same folder as the previous version. Existing project and data files should not be affected.

Offers support for X2, X4, X7, X10, EXL6 and EXLW, and the NEW 4.70 version adds support for the XL Prime Series. Graphical objects look and behave the same on the PC as they do on the OCS. This feature reduces training costs and can significantly speed up your implementations.

I updated my Scuf Envision Pro Firmware to v 0.12.47 today as prompted by iCue and now my Mappings don't work wirelessly. I remapped them and they still don't work. I had macros and everything working wirelessly and now I have to be plugged in. I'm incredibly frustrated that I updated my firmware and the controller got completely handicapped.

same problem going on months now.... corsair and scuf really need to get it together this mid game stop is cringe af. imagine fighting in call of duty and the moment i go to jump shot my back mappings stop working lol #freekillfortheotherteam! really annoying.

Wireless doesn't work after attempting a firmware update, so I attempt to download/update software because it says to, and it hangs at 50% DL. Oh, and I can't even uninstall/reinstall iCUE because it... Sorry! You can't! It hangs too!

I purchased an Envision Pro controller just yesterday, on 2/26/24, and am currently on firmware version 0.8.37, but I'm encountering an "update failed" error. This is my second attempt with this controller; I returned my first one due to persistent issues with iCue, as I was unable to reliably use it for programming. Despite these setbacks, the hardware's quality convinced me to give it another chance, hoping for future improvements. I've now opted to remove iCue altogether, relying solely on the Envision Pro's driver and manual mappings for functionality. Can anyone direct me to a page where I can find release notes for each firmware update, or inform me about the most recent firmware version available?

Thank you for reaching out to Scufgaming customer support! We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this situation, currently the updater has been taken down by our team as they work on a new update for the controller, once this has become available the updater will be available and the controller will be able to download the newest update. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time

I also have the problem that the firmware updater gives an error. It currently shows version 0.12.47, if I click Check for Updates, it gives error Update failed. This has been for several weeks now. My profiles do still work wirelessly though.
