DC Mothering FREE breastfeeding class Monday March 28th

Good Morning Lane County Coalition,

 

 

 

    On behalf of Daisy C.H.A.I.N. Mothering, I'd like to extend an invitation to expectant mothers, families, and community members for our upcoming FREE breastfeeding class this Monday March 28th.  The class is intended for new and potential clients with DC but is open for non-affiliated community members for a fee of $15.  From 12p-2p visitors will receive breastfeeding education from our professional breastfeeding educator, doula, and mother of four, Rasia.  Visitors have the opportunity to engage, ask as many questions as possible, inquire about our programs and organization, receive community referrals, and learn more about the postpartum transition.  The class will be hosted at our safe, nonjudgmental community center, Daisy's Place with coffee, tea, and water available, as well as changing table and comfortable seating for families.  Our hope is to engage our clients prenatally and provide them with the research and evidence-based information necessary for a healthy transition and early start, in order to reduce the any misinformation and barriers that can arise between leaving the hospital and first well check up.
