Bras and breast disease

Hi. I am new to Eugene, a recent evacuee from the Hawaii lava flow. I am also a medical anthropologist breast cancer researcher and co-author of Dressed to Kill: The Link Between Breast Cancer and Bras. As a mother who had nursed 4 children, I appreciate the importance of breastfeeding. I also realize the importance of taking care of your breasts, which means not constricting them with a bra. Many studies show that tight bras are causing breast pain, cysts, and cancer, and can cause mastitis and impair the nursing experience. I would like to share this information with interested mothers.
